game time

i was recently in columbus, ohio visiting my family and friends. while there i was able to partake in the following activities:

1. tennis - i like to pretend i'm good.

2. bike riding - self explanatory.

3. cornhole - sacramento slinger is the way to go. this was basically my first time playing and once i switched my technique to the slinger i found that i'm pretty good.

4. arm wrestling - i lost to kristin and meg. i should start lifting weights or something.

5. high five game - i made this up and it turned out to be a big hit.

6. shrimp toss - this game was short-lived but funny while it lasted.

7. favorite dessert guessing - you can only pick one. mine is ice cream.

8. eating - eat a lot so you gain 20lbs in one week.

9. darts - i lost my touch.

10. would you rather - always entails two equally not enticing things, like working at a gas station or living in a gross, old, dirty apt building. i chose the gas station. meg chose the apt.

garbage

so it’s finally here…summer in the city, not technically, I know, but considering we hit 100 degrees already, I’m calling it summer. and summer in new york city wouldn’t be complete without the smell of hot, steamy garbage. 2 and a half more months of this loveliness…very exciting. wishing I had a beach house…

oh snap

so my family and i went to a wedding in baltimore memorial day weekend. and my sister meg was singing and snapping to the jazzy 12 piece band... the whole night. above is the proof (poor G). at breakfast the next day she said "i think my finger is sore from snapping...it hurts when i go like this (insert meg snapping)..."

i'm 26. huh...how'd i get to be 26? my bday was fun thanks to all my friends who helped me celebrate! stupid bowery bar was annoying though and didn't let people in, boo! i got to celebrate with my fam last weekend in b-more and got spoiled with great presents! thanks friends and fam for making my 26th great! hearts.
